I have been fishing and hunting from the time I was six years old. My dad Bill, my grandfather Pop, my Uncle Roy and our cousin Junior were all from Gumlog, Georgia. "The Gumlog Boys" and my grandfather Earl, a Tennessee mountain man, were all outdoorsmen and my main mentors. I am forever grateful for the time they spent with me and for the lessons I learned from them. This book is a collection of memories and tales of life spent on the water and in the woods with the Gumlog Boys and Earl.
