This short novel is an allegory with Biblical overtones. The novel spans four (4) decades. It originates in the 30s, continues into the 40s and 50s, and culminates in the jungles of Viet Nam. Murder, deceit and betrayal are woven into the plot. Historically accurate and sometimes spellbinding.
