We all possess greatness within us, created in the image of God. Discovering and developing this greatness often requires perseverance through various obstacles. Labels imposed by society, such as race, can hinder us, but we can still strive for our best selves. My story illustrates self-discovery, redemption, and transformation. Despite facing medical and psychiatric challenges, as well as being a victim of abuse and addiction, we can emerge victorious by tapping into our personal greatness. True prosperity lies not in fame or riches, but in achieving inner peace and realizing our dreams, no matter their size. I aim to inspire others by affirming that we are all capable of great things through faith in Christ. Dorothy Bee Williams, known as "The Queen Bee," is a retired US Army veteran from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. A survivor of various traumas, she embodies resilience and strength. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Jackson State University and an Associate in Graphic Design, she has received numerous awards and exhibited her work at the Mississippi Museum of Art. Dorothy won the Editor's Choice Award for her poem "I Was There" and achieved 1st Place for her paper collage at the National Veteran Creative Arts Festival. A master artist, she finds joy in clay sculpting, feeling a connection to God's creation. A devoted woman of faith, she attributes her achievements to God and hopes her legacy will inspire future generations.
