Robert Wodrow Livres
Robert Wodrow était un ministre et historien écossais, réputé comme chroniqueur et défenseur des Covenanters. Son œuvre majeure a documenté et dénoncé méticuleusement la persécution des Covenanters après la restauration de la monarchie en 1660. Wodrow a été un pionnier dans l'utilisation de "documents publics, de papiers originaux et de manuscrits de l'époque" dans ses recherches historiques. En intégrant de nombreux témoignages directs, il a produit un martyrologe important auquel l'Église s'est ensuite référée en période de difficultés.
