Ernst Neufert Livres

Neufert's Architects' Data is an essential reference for the initial design and planning of a building project. It provides, in one concise volume, the core information needed to form the framework for the more detailed design and planning of any building project. Organised largely by building type, it covers the full range of preliminary considerations, and with over 6200 diagrams it provides a mass of data on spatial requirements. Most illustrations are dimensioned and each building type includes plans, sections, site layouts and design details. An extensive bibliography and a detailed set of metric/ imperial conversion tables are included. Since it was first published in Germany in 1936, Ernst Neufert's handbook has been progressively revised and updated through 39 editions and many translations. This fourth English language edition is translated from the 39th German edition, and represents a major new edition for an international, English speaking readership. The team Karle and Buxbaum renovated the post-war Modernist building in Germany, breaking up the old cell structure to make larger units, thus restoring its former chrisma.

Ernst Neufert (1900–1986) und sein Sohn Peter Neufert (1925–1999) bestimmten durch ihre zahlreichen Entwürfe, die Wohngebäude aber auch Industrie- und Handelsbauten umfassten, das Bauen in Deutschland im 20. Jahrhundert mit. In besonderem Maße prägend war die langjährige Lehrtätigkeit Ernst Neuferts an der TU Darmstadt sowie nicht zuletzt seine bis heute gültige Standardpublikation Bauentwurfslehre. Vater und Sohn stehen mit ihren Gebäuden für die Moderne sowie den Wiederaufbau nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Ernst Neufert etwa entwickelte das streng funktionalistische Versandzentrum von Quelle in Nürnberg. Die neuen technischen Entwicklungen des Spannbetons ermöglichten Peter Neufert kühne Formexperimente, die seine Ende der 1960er-Jahre entstandenen Bauten deutlich von denjenigen seines Vaters unterscheiden. Der Band dokumentiert anhand von großformatigen Fotos den Istzustand von sechs ausgewählten Bauprojekten der beiden Architekten und führt die Qualität und Bedeutung ihrer Entwürfe vor Augen.

Dzieło to, wciąż aktualizowane, reprezentujące zawsze najnowszy stan wiedzy, służy studentom i inżynierom od dziesiątków lat. Niniejsze wydanie, czwarte polskie, zostało gruntownie przeredagowane i dostosowane do wymogów współczesności. Z uwagi na rosnącą odpowiedzialność projektanta wobec środowiska pogłębiono i rozwinięto szczególnie aspekty biologii budowli i budowania wśród stanu istniejącego. Wiele tematów uzupełniono, dodano też takie nowe dziedziny, jak urządzenia SPA i pralnie. Na nowo przemyślano rozdziały o kształtowaniu krajobrazu i o pracach wykonywanych w otoczeniu domu, obecnie coraz bardziej zintegrowane z projektowaniem architektonicznym.

W 1936 roku Ernst Neufert opublikował w Niemczech pierwsze wydanie swojego przełomowego wówczas, a dziś już klasycznego, dzieła Bauentwurfslehre ( Podręcznik projektowania architektoniczno-budowlanego ). Od tego czasu w ojczyźnie autora na bieżąco aktualizowano zawartą w książce wiedzę, wydając kolejną wersję podręcznika średnio co dwa lata. W Polsce książka ukazała się po raz pierwszy w 1980 roku, w 2022 publikujemy ją już po raz piąty. Podręcznik z każdą kolejną wersją zyskiwał na objętości - bogatszy o uwspółcześnione treści i zupełnie nowe tematy, które są odpowiedzią na osiągnięcia, trendy oraz potrzeby architektury i technologii budowlanych. W obecnie publikowanym w języku polskim wydaniu warto zwrócić uwagę na treści w znaczy sposób poszerzone, uzupełnione, zaktualizowane lub zupełnie nowe w porównaniu z poprzednią edycją. Są to między innymi zagadnienia: związane z projektowaniem uniwersalnym, które uwzględnia przede wszystkim potrzeby osób ze szczególnymi potrzebami (projektowanie bez barier); dotyczące projektowania architektury mieszkaniowej zarówno wielo-, jak i jednorodzinnej (znaczna liczba nowych przykładów i realizacji referencyjnych); odnoszące się do projektowania miejsc zgromadzeń, hoteli, szkół, placów zabaw, muzeów, świątyń i obiektów przemysłowych (nowe wytyczne zostały zmienione zgodnie ze współczesnymi wytycznymi i tendencjami projektowymi); opisujące planowanie i kierowanie budową; światła dziennego i sztucznego w architekturze; architektury kontenerowej.
