Focusing on the intangible heritage of Amantani Island, this research explores the impact of rural community tourism on the preservation of local culture. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study surveyed 78 heads of household to assess their appreciation of intangible heritage, including agricultural practices, medicinal customs, worldview, handicrafts, and expiatory rites. The findings highlight the community's connection to its living culture and the significance of its strategic location in Lake Titicaca as a catalyst for cultural preservation.
