The study investigates the impact of organic amendments, specifically sludge from the Beja wastewater treatment plant, on barley cultivation. By comparing the physico-chemical properties of amended and unamended plots, the research highlights significant differences in nitrogen, carbon, potassium, phosphorus, and trace elements, as well as barley yields. While some parameters showed minimal variation, the findings emphasize the potential of organic amendments to enhance soil fertility over the long term, contributing to improved agricultural production.
