Focusing on the transformative impact of community service in Rwanda, this study highlights its role as a constructive alternative to imprisonment for genocide offenders. Conducted in Nyamagabe District, it emphasizes self-discipline and respect while enabling offenders to contribute positively to society. The findings reveal that participants gained valuable skills in trades such as carpentry and masonry, leading to infrastructure development that fosters social and economic welfare. This approach not only aids personal growth but also enhances community resources and environmental sustainability.
