Focusing on the social representations of environmental education, this research explores how teachers at "Gral. Enrique Estrada" elementary school in Zacatecas interpret and implement these concepts in their teaching practices. By employing qualitative methodologies such as participant observation and interviews, the study aims to uncover the meanings teachers attribute to environmental education. Grounded in the theoretical frameworks of Serge Moscovici, Marcos Reigota, and María Novo, it seeks to deepen understanding of the connection between social representations and educational approaches to environmental issues.
