Pour pallier à cela ,certaines institutions à caractère philanthropique prennent ces enfants en charge. Malheureusement,malgré leur bonne volonté, elles ne portent pas aussi solution au problème d'abandon. L'idéal est de prendre en compte une dimension multifactoriel dudit phénomène et l'aborder en amont et en aval.
