The aim of the project would be to exchange/share experience of Visegrad Group Member States in the field of their membership in the European Union - in particular: EU accession as an impulse to redefine priorities of V4, differential consequences of their membership in the EU and the role of the Visegrad Group as a forum of setting common positions.

Migracje międzynarodowe niosą szereg konsekwencji dla państwa przyjmującego, a jednym z obszarów odczuwających skutki napływu obcokrajowców jest rynek pracy. W świetle ograniczonej skuteczności działań ukierunkowanych na zapewnianie równowagi na tym rynku, państwa mogą rozważać imigrację zarobkową. W związku z tym rodzą się zasadnicze pytania: Jaki wpływ ma imigracja na wynagrodzenia krajowej siły roboczej? Czy napływ imigrantów prowadzi do zwiększenia bezrobocia wśród krajowych zasobów pracy? Czy imigracja jest skutecznym narzędziem w kontekście problemu z zaspokojeniem popytu na pracę ze strony krajowej siły roboczej? Celem podjętej analizy, która w części empirycznej odnosiła się do państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej, była próba odpowiedzi na te ważne pytania.
