This publication analyzes the main characteristics of EU integration process of Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H). The aim is to show major elements of Macedonian integration, as a candidate-country, and B&H integration into EU as a potential candidate-country. The publication consist of some articles showing the relationship between Macedonia, B&H and the EU, short several explanatory EU documents and analyses studies in this regard as well as reviews of Macedonia's and B&H's capacity to meet EU standards in line with the Interim Agreement, Stabilization and Association Agreement and the European Partnership.

Die Studie bietet eine umfassende Analyse der Ansichten zur Steuerhinterziehung in Mazedonien, Albanien, Bosnien und Herzegowina, dem Kosovo sowie den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. Sie ist eine der wenigen empirischen Untersuchungen, die die Schwere dieses Problems in diesen Regionen misst. Durch die interdisziplinäre Herangehensweise werden Aspekte aus den Bereichen öffentliche Finanzen, Politikwissenschaft, Ethik und Psychologie berücksichtigt.
