It specifically examines the operations of Compañía Siderúrgica Huachipato S.A. in Chile and Ternium Siderar's No. 2 Blast Furnace in Argentina. The study highlights how variations in key operational parameters affect fuel consumption, showcasing the model's potential to enhance operational efficiency in the steel industry.
