404 Ink and BHP Comics have teamed up to bring you We Shall Fight Until We Win, a graphic novel celebrating a century since women gained the right to vote in the UK, and the many pioneering women who have been part of the ongoing fight since 1918. We'll be taking a few women from each decade in the last 100 years and telling their in colourful, illustrated snapshots - some stories are well known, some less so - all worthy of note.
This anthology is the culmination of a year long mentoring program which aims to promote the voices of young Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) creators. Collecting the stories created by participants, this book gives a new perspective in the world of comics of today. Placing young people as the authorities of their own stories, this graphic novel is a bold step in the direction of honest, accessible and just plain fun representation. Be part of it.
With two decades of comic art behind Charlie Adlard, Drawings + Sketches selects work from the Walking Dead, Vampire State Building, Wendigo and much more offering insights into the stories and processes behind them. Adlard has also worked on comics including 2000AD, Mars Attacks, The X-Files, Judge Dredd and X-Men, while The Walking Dead comics, which have recently come to an end, spawned the global smash series on AMC. His tenure as UK Comics Laureate ended earlier in 2019, taken over by Hannah Berry.
