V tomto ohledu jsou totiž klasické teorie fotografie, které se zaměřují na indexikalitu nebo pěstují konvenční narativ člověk versus stroj, už bez užitku. Zylinska proto přesouvá pozornost na ne- reprezentativní aspekty fotografické tvorby.
