Vielmehr bestimmte der Umgang mit verschiedenen Gruppen von Nicht-Weißen sowie das allgemein anerkannte Bild Australiens als Außenposten der weißen Rasse im Südpazifik Identität und Politik der Australier bis zum Ersten Weltkrieg.
