Die Studienarbeit entwickelt eine Methodik zur automatisierten Verrippung von Kunststoffspritzgussbauteilen, basierend auf den wirkenden Belastungen. Hierzu wird ein CATVBA-Makro erstellt, das das CAD-Programm CATIA V5 mit dem FEM-Solver Abaqus verbindet. Der Prozess erfolgt in mehreren Zyklen: Zunächst wird eine Rippenkontur erstellt, gefolgt von der Vernetzung des Bauteils und der Berechnung. Erst nach Erreichen des Endzustands wird das Flächenmodell in ein Volumenmodell umgewandelt. Ziel ist die parametrisch-assoziative Verknüpfung von CAD und CAE als Grundlage für zukünftige Forschungen.
