Der Sammelband „Berufsbildung am Bau digital“ gibt eine Orientierung zum beruflich-betrieblichen Lernen mit digitalen Medien und zum vielfältigen und zunehmenden Einsatz digitaler Arbeitsmittel in der Bauausführung. Bewertungskriterien für digitale Medien in der Berufsbildung im Bauwesen runden den analytischen Teil des Bandes ab. Erprobte Beispiele aus der Berufsbildungspraxis im Bausektor und in angrenzenden Gewerken nehmen breiten Raum in dem Buch ein. Dabei geht es sowohl um digitale Unterstützung beruflicher Lern- und Lehrprozesse als auch sekundärer Prozesse der Berufsbildung. Abschließende Beiträge widmen sich der Verbreitung und dem Transfer von Ergebnissen und Erkenntnissen aus Digitalisierungs-Projekten der Bau-Berufsbildung und der Vernetzung von Akteurinnen, Akteuren auf der personellen und der institutionellen Ebene. Das Buch ist entstanden im Rahmen des durch das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung und den Europäischen Sozialfonds geförderten Projektes MELINDA (Medienunterstütztes Lernen und Innovation in der handwerklichen Arbeit).

The publication refers to a digital learning system for building construction and building technology. It provides explanations of the didactic concept, technical documentation, background information and a comprehensive collection of exemplary tasks for different target groups and subject areas. The digital 3D model of a two-family house represents the essential elements, construction- and execution-related connections and common interface problems of buildings in the joint project DaviD („The Virtual Digital Building“). In a virtual tour, constructive and building technical objects can be activated by mouse click via a context-sensitive menu, to retrieve versatile information at different technical depths. A wiki provides comprehensive information, drawings, guidelines, installation instructions, and similar documents.

This anthology is published on the occasion of the sixtieth birthday of Prof. Dr. Johannes Meyser who represents the subject didactics of civil engineering and landscape planning at the Technische Universität Berlin. The book deals with the interdependency of vocational training and employment. Additionally, it focuses on the education of vocational teachers and presents selected examples of international vocational training cooperation with current and historical references. Contributions with a systemic view and others which a more practical approach are complementary to one another. They argue for professional competencies and the ability to reflected and responsible work to be strengthened as central training objectives. Several contributors consider how structures, technical means and strategies can enable and improve professional cross-border communication and cooperation in learning and work processes in mutual recognition of competences regardless of disciplines, status and hierarchical levels.
