Focusing on the integration of music apps in instrumental lessons, this study explores their role as independent tools that enhance the learning experience. It defines relevant terminology, evaluates selected apps using a self-created guideline, and tests theoretical lesson concepts. Findings reveal that piano students are motivated to explore new sounds, while the apps facilitate collaborative music-making with non-instrumentalists, enriching the overall musical experience.
