Two of the four macroeconomic adjustment programmes, Portugal and Ireland’s, can be considered a success in the sense that the initial expectations in terms of adjustment, both fiscal and external, were broadly fulfilled. A rebound based on exports has taken hold in these two countries, but a full recovery will take years. In Greece the initial plans were insufficient. While the strong impact of the fiscal adjustment on demand could have been partially anticipated at the time, the resistance to structural reforms was more surprising and remains difficult to cure. The fiscal adjustment is now almost completed, but the external adjustment has not proceeded well. Exports are stagnating despite impressive falls in wage costs. In Cyprus, the outcome has so far been less severe than initially feared. It is still too early to find robust evidence in any country that the programmes have increased the long-term growth potential. Survey-based evidence suggests that structural reforms have not yet taken hold. The EU-led macroeconomic adjustment programmes outside the euro area (e.g. Latvia) seem to have been much stricter, but the adjustment was quicker and followed by a stronger rebound

Diese Arbeit entwickelt ein praktikables und übertragbares Konzept einer Verteilnetz- Zustandsschätzung für den Einsatz in Mittel- und Niederspannungsnetzen. Die Erweiterung ausgewählter Zustandsschätzalgorithmen erfolgt dabei mit dem Fokus der Anwendung unter realen Rahmenbedingungen, als auch in Bezug auf eine spannungsebenenübergreifende Berechnung des Systemzustandes. Das entwickelte Verfahren zur Generierung anpassbarer Pseudomesswerte eignet sich sowohl für die Nachbildung einzelner als auch aggregierter Verbraucher und Erzeuger. Der Konzeptnachweis der vorgestellten Methode in Bezug auf die Bewertung der Schätzgüte, findet in zwei realen Mittelspannungsnetzen statt.

Die Hesse koche, und zwar rischtisch! Im Fokus dieser Arbeit steht die Ausbreitung der frühen Mittelsteinzeit in die nordmitteleuropäische Tiefebene. In seiner Studie untersucht der Autor, welche ökologischen Kriterien für die Lagerplatzwahl in der beginnenden Mittelsteinzeit wichtig gewesen sind. Als Fallstudie wird in der Arbeit der Fundplatz Friesack 27a aus Brandenburg vorgelegt, die zugleich als Ausgangspunkt für die übergreifenden Analysen dient. An jener Station konnten bis zu sieben Siedlungsphasen unterschieden werden, die unter Zuhilfenahme umfangreicher paläoökologischer Analysen in ihre naturräumliche Umgebung eingegliedert wurden. Im Zusammenspiel von Literatur- und Fallstudie werden modellhafte Umweltrekonstruktionen entwickelt und mit Analysen von Fundspektren und Lagerplatzwahl verknüpft. So kann belegt werden, dass die Ausbreitung frühmesolithischer Traditionen im Arbeitsgebiet durch eine starke Ökoregionskontinuität geprägt war.

Die Horaz-Rezeption Lucans wurde bisher in der Lucanphilologie und Horazforschung vernachlässigt. Die Annahme, dass Texte nur innerhalb ihrer eigenen Gattung rezipiert werden, hat den Blick darauf verstellt, dass Horaz’ lyrische Gedichte bedeutende Prätexte für Lucans Epos darstellen. Lucan greift immer wieder zentrale Themen der augusteischen Literatur auf, wie Bürgerkrieg, Pflicht, Liebe, Romulus und Remus, Troia sowie die Stadt-Land-Thematik, und bezieht sich dabei auf verschiedene Autoren dieser Zeit, insbesondere auf Horaz. Einzelinterpretationen dieser Bezugnahmen im Kontext der jeweiligen Prätexte zeigen, dass intertextuelle Verweise auf Vorgänger wertvolle Hinweise zur Interpretation des oft dunklen und auf den ersten Blick unzugänglichen Bellum Civile bieten. Die Analyse dieser Verbindungen eröffnet neue Perspektiven für das Verständnis von Lucans Werk und verdeutlicht die Relevanz von Horaz in diesem Zusammenhang. Lucans Bezugnahme auf Horaz und andere Autoren der augusteischen Zeit ist somit entscheidend für die tiefere Auseinandersetzung mit den Themen und Motiven seines Epos.
