The collection features a speaker who navigates the haunting remnants of memory, potentially reflecting the experiences of a former soldier or interrogator. Through vivid and feverish imagery, the poems explore themes of captivity and the intertwining of time and place, creating a dark yet mesmerizing tapestry of emotions. Recognized with the 2011 De Novo poetry prize, OOtt's work invites readers into a profound exploration of the psyche and the shadows of the past.

After quitting his job, Mere finds himself targeted by Polk and must navigate a perilous underworld where racial identity plays a crucial role. As he evades police and enigmatic assassins, the story delves into themes of love, hate, and the complexities of morality, all within a society influenced by an organic supercomputer.

The book offers a comprehensive exploration of art's role in inculturation within Africa, presenting a revised edition of a significant study first published in 2000. It contributes to the theological discourse on the integration of indigenous African and Christian artistic traditions, marking a pioneering effort in Malawi to develop a systematic theology centered on symbolic expression in the African context. This work enriches ongoing discussions about cultural identity and religious expression in Africa.
