Focusing on the theory and recent reforms of criminal procedure in China, this book examines the balance between public security, judicial powers, and individual rights. Focusing on ill-posed problems, the book explores their implications in sampling, Fourier transform computation, and sample restoration using low pass filters. It introduces regularization methods to address these challenges, presenting solutions through weight functions rather than traditional Tikhonov regularization. Als Schüler von Harald Genzmer, Günter Bialas und Ferdinand Haberl zählt Liu Deyi (1929-1991) zu den bekanntesten chinesischen Komponisten und Chorleitern des 20. Jahrhunderts der Republik China auf Taiwan. Wenig Beachtung hat demgegenüber sein Wirken als Musikpädagoge gefunden, obwohl Liu auch hier in mehrfacher Hinsicht vorbildhaft in Erscheinung trat. Mit der vorliegenden Studie wird ein umfassendes Bild von Leben und Werk sowie von seinem Einsatz für die Pflege und Weiterentwicklung der traditionellen chinesischen Musikkultur und Musikpädagogik in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts gezeichnet. Besondere Beachtung verdienen die Eindrücke und Erfahrungen, die Liu während seines Studienaufenthaltes in Deutschland (1960-1966) und als Professor für Musiktheorie an der Kirchenmusikschule in Regensburg (1966/67) gewonnen hatte, die seine spätere Tätigkeit in Taiwan beeinflussten. So wird auch der Blick auf die Anfänge eines musikalischen und musikpädagogischen interkulturellen Austausches zwischen Deutschland und Taiwan gerichtet.
