The book explores the growing use of alloy composites, specifically reinforced aluminum alloy (Al-5Mg) with 12% SiC, in industrial component manufacturing. Through stir casting, the study evaluates the tribological performance of these composites under dry sliding conditions, along with their aging and corrosion properties. Results indicate that the addition of SiC significantly improves the tribological, aging, and corrosion resistance of the aluminum alloy, highlighting the material's potential for enhanced industrial applications.
