Private business in China

En savoir plus sur le livre

This study, based to a large extent on direct Chinese sources, first examines the role of private business in the Chinese reform process, whether its revival is a short-or long-term change, how the Chinese leadership regards it, and what revisions of ideological standpoints are involved. It then considers how individual business is the basis of private business, how these have existed underground, and how latterly they have been built up, and are managed. Attention is given to the economic, social and political effects, and finally the future prospects.
