Svou první divadelní hru napsal v jedenadvaceti letech, od té doby vedle dalších her vydal dva vysoce hodnocené romány: Pepsi Love (2001) a Speed k snídani (2009), natočil šest hudebních alb, věnuje se také výtvarnému umění a překládá Shakespeara. Jeho první detektivka V lese visí anděl (2013, č. 2015) se hned po vydání stala hitem v celé Skandinávii.
