Freeway Warrior il guerriero della strada. Vol. 3 Il tuo nome è Cai Phoenix, nato in California il Giorno del Ringraziamento dell'anno 2013. Nel 2024 ti trovavi per le vacanze natalizie a Dallas, nel Texas, dove eri stato invitato dagli zii Jonas e Betty Ann. Zio Jonas lavorava come dirigente in uno stabilimento petrolifero dal 2008, anno in cui si era laureato in geologia presso la Texas University. Dall'inizio dell'estate del 2024 era impegnato nella costruzione di un pozzo che doveva estrarre petrolio dagli scisti bituminosi vicino ad Austin, il primo di questo genere in Texas, e come regalo di Natale ti aveva promesso una visita guidata negli impianti sotterranei che, per ragioni di sicurezza, erano completamente autosufficienti.
