En savoir plus sur le livre
As an ambassador for the Palestinian cause, Sumaya Farhat-Naser has become a prominent figure. She comments on political developments on the radio, appears on television, and participates in events as a non-polemical witness and engaged representative of women. In 'Thymian und Steine', the charismatic Palestinian woman tells her life story, which begins in 1948, the year of the founding of the State of Israel. The suffering of the Palestinian people shadows her life—a life that exemplifies the emancipatory direction of a younger generation of Palestinian women.
