Red Clark had heard Juilos County was "bad, plumb bad," so he had come to nose around and get himself a job. Chock-jam-packed full of bad men, this border country was-- or so he had heard. He hadn't seen any that looked bad; plenty that needed haircuts or sobering up, including the potbellied, red-nosed sheriff himself.
