Kniha pekne dokončila prvú trilógiu tejto série. Mala zaujímavý príbeh a introdukcia novej postavy Fletchera Renna bola výborná. Síce môže byť v tejto knihe Fletcher otravný, neskôr sa z neho stane vynikajúca postava. Finále bolo dobre spravené a pekne naznačilo že Valkýra sa začne učiť nekromantiu. Nečakal som že Paddy bude za týmto celým. Jediné čo by som vytkol je že jedna z hlavných vecí mala byť že na konci sa veľa vecí pokazí. Kôli tomuto som si myslel že niektorá postava umre, čo bola pravda ale stalo sa to Blissovy ktorého charakter nebol dosť rozvinutý na to aby to malo nejaký dopad na mňa. Áno aj Skulduggeryho unesú, ale aj tak sa vráti v druhej knihe. Celkovo by som túto knihu ohodnotil 4.2 z 5. Veľmi zábavné na prečítanie a pekne nadvezuje na ostatné knihy.
