Okrem všetkých škandinávskych vyšla aj v ďalších krajinách, (a najnovšie bola sfilmovaná). Autor sám píše: "Zdá sa, že knihe sa podarilo podaťjadro evanjelia v takej forme, že ho chápe aj nová generácia. " Román posilnil kresťanskú vieru mnohých čitateľov, ako to dokazuje aj svedectvo dánskeho farára, milovníka Slovenska H. Pedersena: "Keď som študoval teológiu na univerzite v Aarhuse, stretol som a počúval Bo Giertza. Bola to veľká osobnosť. Jeho kniha: Skala srdca mala veľký vplyv na môj život viery: Naučila ma, že stačí preň Ježiš Kristus a Jeho spása. Kým moja láska, moja viera, moja dobrota, moj svätosť sú ničím, Ježiš Kristus a Jeho smrť na kríži je všetkým. ON je mojím základným kameňom, skalou spásy, na Ňom stojím a nič ma neodlúči od Neho.
