Angela Bulloch's works often deal with systems of rules and viewer interaction. She first became known in the 1990s for her Pixel Boxes --cube-shaped, illuminated boxes capable of generating all sixteen million colors of a television screen using just three basic colors. Drawings make up the core of this publication, including Drawing Machines , a series begun in the 1990s, which involve observers in the production process.

Roland Schappert (b. Cologne, 1965; lives and works in Cologne) makes art on the interfaces between text, drawing, painting, graphic art, video, poetry, and essayistic writing. He insistently probes and scrutinizes the potentials and limitations of visual genres, compiling a wide variety of visual and textual fragments and subjecting them to a process of superimposition, overwriting, erasure, and effacement to generate panel paintings as well as murals. In the 2014-2015 season, the Städtische Galerie, a museum for contemporary art in Wolfsburg, celebrates its fortieth anniversary with an innovative exhibition program: selections from its permanent collection are shown in colloquy with temporary wall pieces by the artist. The exhibition, which also explores crucial questions of collecting and conservation as well as selection and valuation, is accompanied by this artist's book, which offers a vivid illustration of Schappert's dialogue with the collection. With essays by Marcus Körber and Susanne Pfleger.

Included are photographers who focus on issues of documentation, such as the "Becherklasse" (Bernd & Hilla Becher and their former students Candida Hafer, Thomas Ruff and Thomas Struth); those who deal in the subjective, following in the wake of Otto Steinert; and those who have grouped themselves around Michael Schmidt since the early 80s. Nan Goldin, Lee Friedlander, Bettina Rheims, Tom Wood and Hiroshi Sugimoto are just some of the international artists featured. Brought together over the last seven years by Hannover-based traffic planner Bernd F. Knne, the work in Yet Untitled offers a fascinating overview of recent trends in American and European photography.
