The proceedings of the Second International Conference on Spray Deposition and Melt Atomization and the Fifth International Conference on Spray Forming are summarizing the contents of the lectures given at the conference. The conference provided a platform for discussions and reports of the latest commercial, experimental, theoretical and numerical studies in the growing field of melt atomisation, spray forming, thermal spraying, and down-stream processing of spray deposited products. The aim is to bring together scientists, engineers, and end-users from these areas of spray forming, thermal spraying, powder production and powder metallurgy to discuss technologies, applications and trends in the new millenium.
