Stefan Marx releases his new book 'Berlin Drawings' one and a half year after moving to Germany's Capital. These small scale drawings were made in different situations - being on public transport, in clubs, at the TXL airport, walking in different neighborhoods, or just at his new home. On 300 pages he shares his impressions, thoughts and observations of his surrounding space, drawing down faces, typographies, animals, daydreams and quotes of Berlin. Berlin Drawings is Stefan's 27th publication with Nieves. Stefan Marx is a Berlin based artist. His work is drawing based and exhibited internationally. His artist books are published by Nieves, Rollo-Press, and Christoph Keller Editions/JRP Ringier - beside these releases he publishes regulary by himself. Since 2017 he works with the Berlin based porcelain manufacture KPM on various projects, he has lectured widely and taught Drawing at the Bauhaus University in Weimar.

Whimsical notebooks/artist’s books designed by the beloved German draftsman German artist Stefan Marx (born 1979) draws a great deal on a variety of large and small, colored or white paper; on cardboard, porcelain, skateboards or textiles. He also always likes to draw in small notebooks. During Mac DeMarco's European Tour in the fall 2017 Stefan Marx joined the band for a few stops to draw on stage during Mac DeMarco's live performance.
