Brzy nato je Broke obviněn, že přejel a usmrtil starého restaurátora a hrozí mu sedm let vězení. Broke, který nedávno ztratil za tragických okolností ženu, je ke svému osudu apatický, ale případu se ujímá několik jeho přátel.
