Nigel Peake's drawings for Japanese distillery Mitosaya.0?Mitosaya is a distillery founded by Hiroshi Eguchi, located in Chiba prefecture, a few hours outside of Tokyo. It use to be a botanical garden. I have visited twice, both times in late autumn. Each visit to Mitosaya was as if dropping into a small new world, one that Hiroshi and his family have shaped. The drawings presented in these two slim volumes have been made as labels for Mitosaya's brewing this year.? - Nigel Peake

This journal encourages us to take up travelling by bike - on short or long rides, through urban, suburban or rural areas, along roads, coasts and mountain paths - and record these colourful journeys. Nigel Peake's beautiful drawings map out ideas and guide riders through new landscapes, both real and imaginary. With 20 illustrations, blank pages to write on and 4 envelopes to store mementoes of your journeys.
In the Wilds is a collection of artist Nigel Peake's hand-drawn observations of rural life. From the trees, fields, lakes, and rolling hills that define the country landscape, to the farm houses, tractors, fences, and telegraph poles that build it, Peake's obsessively detailed pencil and ink drawings and beautifully muted watercolors capture the slow moving rhythm of his surroundings. In a time when everyone seems to be seeking relief from the fast pace of everyday life, In the Wilds offers an escape to a countryside as timeless as it is idyllic.
