Při zkoumání artefaktů se spřátelil se záhadným alchymistou Elinorem, který ho seznámil s tibetským lámou. V další knize Elinor s lámou vezmou Radua do Tibetu, kde mu předají starobylý rukopis k překladu. Radu se tak dostává k zasvěcení nejvyššího stupně. V dalším příběhu se stává strážcem Elinorovy vily v Bukurešti, kde objeví alchymistickou laboratoř. Následně je naverbován do oddělení Nula, tajné rumunské zpravodajské jednotky, a účastní se expedice zkoumá tajemný tunel vedoucí z komory pod rumunskou Sfingou do jiné komory v Gíze. Tato komora obsahuje biorezonanční zařízení, které umožňuje navštívit minulé a budoucí události.
