      While photographing the book, Shack Chic, which focussed on the lifestyle and inspiration found in the shack-lands of Cape Town, the most frequent reply to my question, “Where is your home?” was “Transkei”, I felt the need to explore “home”, to understand this attachment that the urban shack dwellers feel for their rural roots. – Craig Fraser Here life is lived in tune with nature and in cognizance of community.
