William L. Langer

    William Leonard Langer était un historien spécialisé dans la diplomatie de la fin du XIXe et du début du XXe siècle. Diplômé de l'Université de Harvard, il a enseigné à la Clark University avant d'accepter un poste à l'Université de Harvard, où il est finalement devenu président du département d'histoire. Il a été en congé pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale en tant que chef de la branche recherche et analyse de l'Office of Strategic Services et a été président de l'American Historical Association en 1957.
