Eye to Eye gathers for the first time more than 150 photographs by rock musician Graham Nash. While best known as a founding member of the rock band Crosby, Stills, Nash, and (sometimes) Young, Nash also developed a parallel career as a photographer, collector, and pioneer of digital imaging. Shot between 1969 and 2003, Nash's photographs include revealing portraits of family and friends, images of life on the road, still lifes and landscapes, street photographs, and a unique series of self-portraits which often shows him reflected in windows and mirrors. Eye to Eye establishes Nash as a masterful visual artist with a keen eye for moments and scenes not immediately available to the common eye.

From a post-war childhood in a run-down Manchester suburb to founding the Hollies and setting Sixties Britain swinging. From abandoning it all for Joni Mitchell and California's canyons to forming Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the first and most enduring of all supergroups. From playing and hanging out with greats like George Harrison and Bob Dylan to becoming an artist and political activist. Wild Tales is the life, story and journey of Graham Nash, an iconic figure in music. 'A naked memoir.' Scotland on Sunday 'Bears exuberant witness to the Fifties rock-n-roll explosion, the Swinging Sixties, and the American folk-rock scene, all interspersed with stories of drugs benders, band acrimony and copious sex. As much a lesson in pop history as it is warts-and-all memoir.' Independent 'A social history as much as a memoir.' Sunday Times, Books of the Year 'Great read.' Front Row, Radio 4 'A shockingly candid memoir.' Daily Express 'A very thoughtful, well told account of an interesting musical and personal journey.' Irish Independent
Music legend, photographer, and artist Graham Nash reflects on more than fifty years of an extraordinary life in this extensive collection of personal photographs, paintings, and mixed-media artwork. číst celé
Graham Nash, geb.
