V jednotlivých kapitolách se její autoři zabývají anatomií těla, využitím energie, rovnováhou, pohybem, rytmem, chováním, scénou a kostýmem, technikou herectví a tréninkem. Pro české vydání byla převzata grafická úprava a obrazová příloha italského (zatím posledního a autory doplněného) vydání.
