Jeden z najdôležitejších pramenných materiálov o histórii Bratislavy Pozsonyváros útcai és terei z roku 1905 vychádza po vyše sto rokoch aj v slovenskom preklade. Doteraz vyšli 4 diely (Staré mesto, Podhradie, Mesto Františka Jozefa a Ferdinandovo mesto). Na rozdiel od pôvodného vydania, abecedného súpisu prešporských ulíc a námestí v maďarčine, slovenské vydanie je koncipované ako prechádzka mestskou časťou. Tá sa začína na juhovýchode Bratislavy – po Karadžičovej, Legionárskej, Vajnorskej, cez Šancovú a Štefánikovu ulicu – a končí na severe – po Pražskej ulici do Mlynskej doliny.

Tretí mestský obvod sa začiatkom 20. storočia nazýval Mesto Františka Jozefa (Franz Josefstadt, Ferencz-József-város) na počesť cisára Františka Jozefa I. Patrilo sem 45 ulíc a námestí. Autor, historik, znalec mesta a vynikajúci rozprávač, nás sprevádza na prechádzke po nábreží Dunaja, cez dnešné Hviezdoslavovo námestie, po Dunajskej ulici až k Ondrejskému cintorínu, cez Poľnú ulicu k Malej stanici na Mlynských nivách a k nákladnému prístavu na Dunaji. Pristavuje sa pri pomníkoch, významných budovách a slávnych osobnostiach, ktoré tu žili a zanechali stopu v dejinách mesta. Kniha je bohato ilustrovaná 130 unikátnymi dobovými fotografiami. Doposiaľ vyšli 2 diely Ortvayových Ulíc a námestí Bratislavy – Podhradie a Ferdinandovo mesto.
