The book Redemption in the Lurianic Kabbalah and Its Branches deals with a little known aspect of Rabbi Luria’s mystic teaching, about Redemption. The author of the book is grateful to Prof. Ronit Meroz from Tel Aviv University for her book on this subject which was Prof. Meroz’s doctoral work at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 1988. The author of this book has taught this subject to US students at the University in Prague for several semesters. Rabbi Luria influenced in an immense way not only Judaism, but even some Christian thinkers, as for example the philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibnitz and the modern theologian Jürgen Moltmann. Everybody will agree that our world needs improvement, and the teaching of Rabbi Luria offers a sort of hope for a better world.

Judaism in Spain had a long and rich history. The Jews were part of Spain, even if they were often persecuted and in the year 1492 they were expelled. The Jewish population was very prolific in Poetry,1 Philosophy,2 in especially religious poetry3. It is important to say that the Jewish Mysticism in Europe has had one of its oldest centers in Gerona in northern Spain. Rabbi Moses ben Nahman4, Rabbi Azriel5, and many other Kabbalists were among the first in Europe who interpreted the Torah in the way of the Kabbalah. The Revolution in the Spanish Kabbalah came with Rabbi Moshe de Leon (1240–1305). In the time of his youth, he read The Guide of the Perplexed by Maimonides.6 Moshe de Leon was however more and more attracted by the mystical understanding of the Torah. He is often considered as the main author of the Zohar. Meanwhile after Gershom Scholem thought that he was probably the main author of the Zohar, modern Scholars of the Kabbalah concluded that the composition of the Zohar was much more complicated.7 The Zohar is in fact the first kabbalistic commentary on the Torah. The translation of this book into English by Daniel C. Matt was an outstanding enterprise. The Zohar became the third canonical text of Judaism, only after the Hebrew Scriptures and the Talmud. With the book – printing there came a revolution in the distribution of the Zohar. 1

Čtveřici trampských pohádek "dle Pajdova vyprávění" v potu tváře sepsal a utřídil a s původními ilustracemi Marko Čermáka vlastním nákladem vydal Josef Bláha – Řešetlák v roce 1981 pro své kamarády. Později k nim přibyla ještě pohádka pátá. Nyní jde o obnovené a oficiální vydání.

Učebnice představuje ucelený, moderní pohled na problematiku léčby pacientů s termickým, elektrickým, chemickým a radiačním poraněním. Připravil ji autorský kolektiv pod vedením Radany Königové, profesorky tohoto oboru na klinice 3. lékařské fakulty Univerzity Karlovy, která patří k předním českým odborníkům na popáleniny. Je určena všem specialistům, studentům medicíny a lékařům v postgraduálním vzdělávání i v praxi. Kniha se vyznačuje přehledným shrnutím všech aspektů popáleninové medicíny a jasným a precizním definováním složité problematiky; všechny poznatky jsou doloženy řadou příkladů z bohaté praxe autorů. Významnou část publikace představují kapitoly věnované traumatům, kde je zohledněn i etický aspekt léčby. Autoři se zabývají rozsahem a typem potřebné péče, prevencí popáleninového psychického stresu i psychickou rehabilitací pacientů. Kniha je doplněna DVD nosičem, na kterém je přes 600 obrázků a schémat ve vysokém rozlišení, k nimž se vztahují odkazy v jednotlivých kapitolách publikace. Jako speciální příloha je doplněno několik videosekvencí demonstrujících základní chirurgické úkony při léčbě popálených pacientů. Publikace tak bude významným přínosem pro všechny, kdo se s popáleninovým traumatem a jeho komplikacemi setkávají při studiu i výkonu svého povolání, od budoucích lékařů až po pracovníky integrovaného záchranného systému.

Sborník článků a přednášek pojednávající o aspektech židovské mystiky, kabaly a středověké židovské filozofie. V knize jsou také interpretovány některé Žalmy.

Tato kniha nezpracovává všechny žalmy, ale na příkladě vybraných chce ukázat, že žalmy, modlitba židů i křesťanů po celá staletí , jsou aktuální i na počátku třetího tisíciletí.

Tento slovník obsahuje unikátní, ve své většině dosud nepublikované údaje o českých autorech píšících četbu určenou zejména pro chlapce. Jde o nejúplnější soubor literatury daného typu, který u nás kdy vyšel. Je vynikající pomůckou pro ty, kdo potřebují orientaci ve vytyčené oblasti. Pozn.
