    Pat Mills, souvent surnommé 'le parrain de la bande dessinée britannique', est un auteur et éditeur qui a revitalisé les bandes dessinées pour garçons britanniques dans les années 1970. Il est resté une force majeure dans le domaine, connu pour la violence distinctive et les thèmes anti-autoritaires de ses œuvres. Mills est surtout reconnu pour la création du titre influent 2000 AD et pour avoir façonné de manière significative le développement du personnage emblématique Judge Dredd.
