Tato kniha byla vydána českým nakladatelstvím Twisted Spoon Press, které sídlí v Praze a vydává díla českých a slovanských autorů v anglickém jazyce. Oficiální anotace nakladatele: Called “the Czech Cioran” by Andrei Codrescu, Róbert Gál is one of the freshest voices to come from Prague over the past few years. His writing is a mix of philosophy and prose poetry that explores the tenuousness of one's identity and existence. Ironical in his outlook, Gál's aim with this volume is to bring the great Romanian philosopher E. M. Cioran into the present in the same way that John Zorn, whose music provided the impetus for writing this book, brought Ornette Coleman into the present. The volume includes aphorisms and longer and shorter “philosophical” fragments. The photographs by Lucia Nimcová were taken specifically for this collection. As aptly described by well-known psychiatrist/publisher Ales Pech, Nimcová's nude self-portraits act as a “counterpoint to the philosophical denuding that is the book's basic premise.”

Výber z poézie nositeľa Nobelovej ceny za literatúru. Básne do tejto knihy zo súborného diela vybrala a preložila Jana Kantorová-Báliková. Sú plné krásnej nostalgie a nesú pečať ostrovov, z ktorých autor pochádza. Knihu sprevádzajú farebné olejomaľby Daniela Brunovského, ktoré podčiarkujú celkovú náladu diela. Kniha vychádza bilingválne t. j. v anglickej pôvodine a slovenskom preklade.

Společné vydání překladů dvou experimentálních próz Na křídlech (2006) a Agnomie (2008) od současného slovenského autora Róberta Gála (1968), jehož žánrově těžko zařaditelné texty jsou součástí mnoha zahraničních antologií. Knihy filosofických aforismů Epigraffiti (2001) a Znaky a príznaky (2003) vyšly souhrnně pod názvem Signs & Symptoms také v angličtině.

Texty Roberta Gála sú určené iba veľmi náročnému čitateľovi. Aj jeho druhá kniha pokračuje v tendenciách ako predchádzajúce Krídlovanie.

Jeho najnovšia kniha Traktát je voľne inšpirovaná myslením Ludwiga Wittgensteina, ktorého Logicko-filozofický traktát vyšiel presne pred sto rokmi.
