Kniha popisuje zajímavé souvislosti mezi středověkou Skandinávií, Francií a Jeruzalémem. Vypráví, jak vlivní muži jako Bernard z Clairvaux, templářský velmistr Bertrand de Blanchefort a dánský biskup Eskil spolupracovali ve dvanáctém století, aby uchovali fantastické tajemství.
