Věnuje se zejména exilové tvorbě Milana Kundery, Josefa Škvoreckého, Jana Křesadla, Lubomíra Martínka, Karla Srpna, Jiřího Klobouka a Jana Nováka. Zamýšlí se také nad významem exilové literatury pro dnešního čtenáře.
