As an alien warship approaches Earth, the world still doesn't know which, if any, of the four replacement Supermen is the real Man of Steel. Each has a claim to the title, but two show their true colors when they battle the others for supremacy. Meanwhile, the true Superman, restored by a Kryptonian regeneration matrix, is plotting his return!
