A Trumpet in the Time of Trouble, Volume 5
    • In this fifth volume of "A Trumpet In The Time Of Trouble", the author continues to look at the warnings that the Lord spoke to His people through His prophet Ezekiel. There are so many Christians who read these prophecies, and either don't understand them, or, if they do understand them, avoid them because of the gravity of them. The truth is, though, that these words should be understood as the love of the Father for His people; because, on the whole, His people are unaware of the signs of the times, and of the seasons. The words are harsh, because He's trying to awaken us to the storm that is coming, and prepare us for the events that are imminent. Thus, He's seeking for those who will put aside their fears, will hear what He's been trying to say, and will walk in obedience to Him. Those who do will become a refuge for the multitudes who will have nowhere else to turn.

    • There are a number of books on the market which look at the prophecies of Ezekiel, and they all have their place and value. However, if you've read the previous three volumes of "A Trumpet In The Time Of Trouble," you've probably noticed just how extensive the writings of the prophet can be. And, though the proph-ecies were written some 2600 years ago, and to the natural Jews, as well as to the other nations of those days, still, God's inspired Word speaks to us today. True: the word is harsh, and there are far too many of God's people today who refuse to hearken to it, just as there were in the days when it first came forth. But, as with the original prophecies, these were warnings to the people. They were the Lord's attempts to reach some who might heed His warnings, and turn from their wicked ways, and seek Him with their whole heart. You see, the path that both the secular and religious world have chosen is the wide path to destruction; while the Lord is offering those who would turn to Him the way of life!

    • In the Word of God, one of the books which is either not understood, misunderstood, or ignored altogether is that of the prophecies of Ezekiel. The symbolism and seemingly eccentric behavior of the prophet has resulted in quite a few speculations about the prophecies, many of which fall far short of what the Lord is saying. In this book, the author looks at the writings of Ezekiel, not as an historical account, nor as prophecies concerning the nation of Israel, but as a message to the church today. The intention is not to find fault with His people. Rather, it's intended as a wake-up call for the times that we're in, as well as the times that are ahead.

If you've ever wanted to understand the Word of God, but a lot of it makes no sense to you; If you've ever wondered what God's purpose for your life is, but it seems as if there's been no sure direction; And if what you've heard has left you empty, hungry, and with unanswered questions; Then this could be what you've been looking for. "The Prize Unfolding" was written to address some of Christianity's teachings, such as God's purposes with the heavens and the earth, and with men and angels. It also looks at the ideas that are taught about the end times, and whether they line up with His Word. And, finally, it brings it all together with an idea about something that many have heard; namely, the mark and the prize. If you're willing to open your heart and mind, you may just find that you'll see that the Lord's promises and purposes are much more glorious than you've ever thought.
