Despite all we know about our planet it is still being a wonder for anyone who is thinking about it. It is substantial, unpredictable and magical, as it is evident in Filip Kulisev's pictures. In 1995, when Filip was gaining first experience in photography, he didn't even wondered that his pictures might be seen by thousands of people some time later. As a good traveller he combined pleasure and usefullness and he is sharing his experience with you today. Filip Kulisev was born on August 14, 1973 in Bratislava, Slovak Republic. After his studies of tourism and after many journeys he began to photograph in 1995. He is being accompanied by his girlfriend Zuzana Matejbusova as an assistant, cameraman and manager of Amazing Planet in one person. Filip uses Canon SLR cameras and lenses as well as large middle format Mamyia 7 II.

Na 216 stranách objavíte, že za každou fotografiou sa skrýva jedinečný príbeh.

Fotograf Filip Kulisev v novej knihe predstaví 100 divov našej planéty. Ide o druhú monografiu tohto talentovaného fotografa a cestovateľa, ktorý sa stal významnou postavou mladšej generácie slovenských fotografov. V publikácii zachytáva 100 najkrajších miest na Zemi, ktoré objavil na všetkých kontinentoch, od ľadovcov a horských lagún po púšte a národné parky. Kulisev prezentuje tieto miesta z rôznych perspektív, pričom kladie dôraz na detaily. „Príroda je pre mňa najväčšou inšpiráciou a chcem čitateľom priblížiť nádherné známe aj menej známe lokality,“ hovorí autor. Kniha obsahuje viac ako 300 fotografií a mapy, ktoré ukazujú presné umiestnenie jednotlivých divov. Kulisev chce poukázať na to, že aj v súčasnosti existujú panenské miesta, ktoré si zaslúžia ochranu pre budúce generácie. Publikácia vychádza v slovenskej aj anglickej verzii, pričom riaditeľ Vydavateľstva Slovart, Juraj Heger, očakáva jej úspech aj na zahraničnom trhu. Zámer autora oslovil aj monacké knieža Alberta II, ktorý napísal predslov, v ktorom vyzdvihuje Kulisevovu schopnosť upozorniť na krásu a krehkosť našej planéty.

Vydanie knihy Polárna planéta v anglickej mutácii. The Polar Regions have so captivated Filip Kulisev over the years that he finally decided to devote a book to exploring these parts of the world. In Polar Planet he points out the differences between the Artic and Antarctica. Only in northern regions of the globe do polar bears jump from floe to floe, while millions od penguins gathering in single colonies are found only in the Southern Hemisphere. The Polar Regions are the most inhospitable places for animals, yet they are thriving with life where few expect it. The photographs in the book show them, with breathtaking scenery, in the environment where they live. The beauty of the nature surroundings us is not to be taken for granted when you consider that something so common today may not exists tomorrow. This absolutely applies to the polar region. Filip documents them all, but with the firm belief that future generations will not have to take this book as testimony to a world that has been lost.
