Dealing with the historicity of Jesus, this thesis considers the reconstruction of the life of Christ based on the movements of the heavenly bodies of the Zodiac. The author sees the life of Christ in a similar light to that of Hercules.
Andrzej Niemojewski war ein engagierter und produktiver Schriftsteller, der 1921 im Alter von 57 Jahren verstarb. Seine Bibelinterpretationen gelten als herausragend, doch die akademische Theologie hat in den letzten 100 Jahren keine eigenen Antworten auf die Fragen seines Werkes gegeben, wodurch er bald in Vergessenheit geriet.
Andrzej Niemojewski (1864-1921) erzielte mit seinen astralmythologischen Bibelinterpretationen in Deutschland größeren Erfolg als in Polen. Seine Werke sind von Weltruhm und gelten als die Juwelen seines Schaffens. Die Broschüre „Warum eilten die Jünger nach Emmaus?“ von 1911 ist in der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek nicht verzeichnet.
